Hey fellow fashionistas! I’m so excited to share my insider tips for the top shops and boutiques in Soho, one of my favorite areas to stroll around during a New York City shopping spree. With its charming cobblestone streets lined with 19th-century cast-iron buildings housing chic designer stores, Soho offers a fabulous mix of big-name luxury brands and unique indie boutiques you won’t find elsewhere in the city.

To splurge on the latest runway styles or discover under-the-radar labels and vintage finds, Soho is a shopper’s paradise. I’ll take you on a tour of my must-visit stores for the trendiest handbags, shoes, clothing, and accessories. Get ready for an afternoon of fabulous shopping and sightseeing in one of NYC’s iconic neighborhoods!

Let’s get started with my list of can’t-miss spots to shop and the best stores in fabulous Soho.

The Reformation

For sustainable and ethically made women’s fashions, The Reformation is a must-visit eco-boutique on Soho’s shopping map. This brand is revolutionizing fast fashion with on-trend vintage-inspired dresses, tops, bottoms, and shoes – all manufactured using renewable energy and innovative techniques to dramatically reduce waste.

As soon as you step inside the minimalist white interior with gleaming marble and brass accents, you’ll see why Reformation has become a hit with style-savvy and eco-conscious shoppers alike. Expect to find figure-flattering silhouettes in feminine prints and textures made from natural fibers and recycled materials. From sexy wrap dresses perfect for date night to comfy casual basics ideal for the weekend, your closet can go green at Reformation’s Soho shop.

Polène

For arm candy with a modern twist, pop into the Soho outpost of Parisian accessory label Polène. The displays of their distinctive top-handle handbags immediately captivate passersby with the clean structured shapes and buttery leathers in neutral and bold hues. The aesthetic combines French elegance with minimal Scandinavian influences, resulting in covetable everyday and work totes as well as investment classics that will elevate any outfit. The prices are surprisingly affordable for the exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

Beyond the iconic bags, Polène’s Soho shop also offers wallets, belts, jewelry, and other small leather goods to complete your look. It’s worth a visit just to peruse the latest arrivals and ogle the gorgeous bag you’ll be carrying during your next visit to NYC!

The Apartment by the Line

Located two floors above the endlessly crowded sidewalks of Soho, walking into the loft known as The Apartment by The Line is akin to taking a breath of fresh air among smog. Saturday afternoon is perhaps the most bustling day in this lovely neighborhood, yet The Apartment by The Line had just one customer inside, albeit happily toting a largely oversized shopping bag of goods.

Entering the loft through the bedroom, the first thing you’ll notice is the plush white bed, gently illuminated by the natural light that streams through the loft’s oversized windows. A stand-alone white bathtub – one of the few things in the loft that is not for sale – rests across from the bed, surrounded by various luxury bath products like Coconut Skin Trip Soap ($6).

Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony is a cutting-edge multi-brand boutique that should be on every fashionista’s must-visit list in Soho. Since opening in 2002, this shop has become renowned for carrying avant-garde and emerging designers from around the world, alongside its own critically-acclaimed in-house label. The spacious store is brightly lit with high ceilings and has an airy, gallery-like feel.

You’ll discover exclusive collaborations and limited-edition collections you won’t see anywhere else in the city. Be prepared to browse through rail after rail of eye-catching designs and accessories curated from global fashion hotspots like Tokyo, Paris, and London. The merchandise spans both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, footwear, jewelry, and lifestyle goods, so count on finding something cool for everyone on your list.

I hope you enjoyed these Soho shopping tips!
