Paris Photo is the most prestigious contemporary photography fair in the world. Dealers from around the world travel to Paris every fall to set up a booth in the Grand Palais, where the fair is held. Having just been to FIAC a few weeks earlier, I felt good about knowing my way around the Grand Palais. It was my first visit to this particular fair however, and I must say it’s quite beautiful! While photography sells for considerably less than contemporary art, there’s definitely no loss of magic here. In fact, I enjoy that most of these photographs are attainable, meaning there are real people and places behind them…
