Lisbon is an expansive city that seems to go on and on. I decided to visit the well-known district of Belem one day and on the way back, instead of taking the train, I walked! Walking back to Lisbon city center was really beautiful. In most cities, the surrounding areas are hit or miss, but Lisbon’s beauty seems to continue on forever.
Look at all the gorgeous Portuguese architecture I discovered on my trip to the west side of Lisbon! If you’re looking for more offbeat things to do in Lisbon, check out LxFactory.

If you want to get away from the packed center of Lisbon, definitely check out LxFactory. While it will probably still be crowded on the weekends, it’s a great hipster hideaway for shopping and eating.
