The Vessel is a public art structure located in Hudson Yards in Manhattan, New York City. It is a 16-story interactive landmark consisting of 154 interconnecting flights of stairs made of a honeycomb of steel and glass that visitors can climb and explore. The structure was designed by Thomas Heatherwick, and it opened to the public in March 2019.
Is it worth going inside The Vessel? Personally, I don’t think so. Unless you want some really futuristic-looking photos of yourself or you’re interested in modern architecture, going inside The Vessel can be skipped. It does offer amazing views of the city and Hudson Yards, and visitors can climb the stairs and explore the structure if they wish.
