As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of chocolate and baked goods, I make it my mission to seek out the best chocolate croissants whenever I travel to a new city.

And there may be no place better to indulge in this flaky, chocolatey pastry than in the city of love itself – Paris. With patisseries and boulangeries on practically every corner, the French capital offers no shortage of options for chocolate croissant aficionados like myself.

However, I recently discovered what just may be the holy grail of chocolate croissants during my most recent trip to Paris.

Nestled amongst the winding streets of the Opéra neighborhood, I happened upon an unassuming bakery with a line out the door. Intrigued by the crowd, I joined the queue, not yet knowing that I was about to enjoy the best chocolate croissant of my life.

Hello Chez Meunier chocolate-covered croissant!

As you can see, this is no ordinary pain au chocolate. This one is drenched in chocolate topping, making sure you get choco-goodness in every bite!

This is a unique way to experience the famous Parisian chocolate croissant and I highly recommend trying one for yourself!
