I had the best cookie of my life at a small hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in the 10th arrondissement of Paris: 5 Pailles. If you walk too fast, you may miss the small opening, but you’ll easily recognize it if you look by the bright orange neon sign hanging on the wall just inside.

I’m usually disappointed by Parisian specialty coffee shops’ food offerings, but I’m so glad I tried this cookie: a matcha white chocolate cookie. It melted in my mouth and proved to be the perfect accompaniment to my latte.
