Santa Ponsa Beach is a lovely place to visit in Mallorca. This August I had a chance to stay for a weekend in this lovely Spanish island getaway. This town is located in the southwest portion of Mallorca island in Spain. It’s part of the Calvia municipality.
The name Santa Ponsa comes from the Roman villa called Santa Ponctia.
The area is well known for its three golf courses and has even hosted a PGA European Tour event in the past.
I was so impressed by the sprawling sandy beach of Santa Ponsa. Many beaches on Mallorca are quite small but this one is expansive.
Afterwards, I went to the coastal Mallorcan town of Port de Soller!
