Rose Bakery & the hidden garden courtyard of Musée de la Vie Romantique

This elegant and charming garden is managed by Rose Bakery which offers small meals and a casual salon de thé. Large trees surround the outdoor seating providing shade from the hot summer sunlight. If you didn’t know better, for a moment, you might believe you were actually in Provence!

I had lunch here with a friend during one of the first really hot days of the summer season in June. It was the perfect way to kick off summer in Paris. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon so try to visit during the week or as early as they open to snag a good seat.
